Mapula Lodge is situated on a private concession in the north western part of the Okavango Delta, an approximate 40 minute flight from Maun.

Mapula Lodge is situated in the remote North Eastern part of the Okavango Delta, outside the National Park, therefore allowing night game drives and walking safaris, as well as the usual 4x4 game drives, mokoro and motor launch excursions in the Okavango Delta.
Light aircraft flights to Mapula Lodge:
Flights from Maun to Mapula Lodge, it's scenic route over the Okavango Delta and it takes about 40 minutes. There is a luggage restriction of 10 kilograms per person in soft luggage.
Passengers weighing in excess of 100 kilograms must notify this Botswana lodge when booking. Weight and balance is at the pilot’s discretion and excess luggage might be left behind in safe storage. All other flight connections are available on request to the Okavango Delta. Mapula has its own airstrip named Xaraki, only 15 minutes from the camp.
