Endless time... gentle, quiet and restful... Here, in the domain of the big cats, game viewing is both private and riveting. Roam the open floodplains searching out the big game, stopping for short walks and more detailed inspection of minutiae.
When it comes to wildlife, The Selinda is well known for its Hippo-killing Lions, Cheetah, Wild Dog and Leopard. The Botswana camp also holds among others: Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, Impala, Hippo, Hyaena, Sable and Lechwe. There is stunning birdlife and vegetation, which makes for breathtaking photography on a Botswana safari. The wildlife is profoundly viewed in summer from October to April.
The central lounge / dining area of Selinda Camp is a double tier thatched building, comprising lounge / reading area with single dining table seating 18 guests and staff. Selinda Camp has excellent views of passing game herds which can be heard from upstairs. Downstairs there is a small bar next to the campfire, as well as a curio shop and stocked bar.
