Zarafa Camp is a small, intimate tented safari camp situated on a palm island on the edge of Botswana's northern Linyanti Swamps. Close by this Botswana safari camp is the lagoon. There is stunning panoramic views of open floodplains.
Zibalianja Lagoon is the source of the famous Savuti channel and is the southern catchment of the Linyanti swamps in northern Botswana. The area is characterised by extensive floodplain savannah with the occassional palm studded island breaking the skyline.
There is a wealth of animals to see on this Botswana safari; Elephant, Lion, Cheetah, if you are lucky, a Leopard, Zebra, Wildebeest, Hippo, Hyaena, Sable, Wild Dog, Lechwe, and plains game. On the night drives there is an abundance of nocturnal species. This Botswana safari camp has unbelievable birdlife and a variety of vegetation, which is best viewed in the summer between October and April.
Child Policy:Children over 12 are welcome at this Botswana safari camp. Children younger than 12 can be accommodated with special arrangements. July offers a 50% discount for children younger than 16 years old.
