Jao Camp is situated in an area consisting of permanent waterways and lagoons and thick Kalahari soils. A simple and elegant camp, Jao offers accommodation in 18 bedded luxury tents, blending harmoniously with nature. Each room is set under a canopy of shady trees and boasts en suite bathrooms and an outside shower under the stars.

Set in the Jao Reserve in Botswana, Jao Camp offers a wealth of excellent game viewing opportunities. Depending on the time of year and the water levels, large concentrations of Elephant, African Wildcat, Impala, Sitatunga, Wild Dog, Lechwe and Warthog inhabit this area. Activities offered at this camp include mokoro trips, boating safaris, walking safaris, game drives and night drives.

Day 17: Depart

There is a light aircraft transfer to Maun Airport for your flight to Johannesburg where your Botswana travel package will end.
